Hunter Waldrop, MSW, LCSWA
Hunter earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of Kansas. Hunter was born and raised in Western North Carolina and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy with a concentration in Religion at Western Carolina University. Hunter’s background includes community-based mental health providing therapy at public schools, Batter’s Intervention and Prevention programming in state prison, and municipal drug court. Hunter utilizes Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches to help clients grow and heal in the recovery process.
When not working, Hunter appreciates spending time with her yorkie, Tucker and Husky, Nyx. Hunter also enjoys finding new restaurants, basketball games, hiking, and traveling.
