Evan Snyder

Alumni Coordinator

Evan has been a part for the Four Circles family as a Wilderness Guide, Base Guide, Logistics Coordinator, Admissions Advisor and now Alumni Coordinator.  As a guide, Evan saw clients transition from hopelessness to hope in their first steps of recovery. In logistics, Evan was working with groups and helping clients learn how to live without substances. In admissions, Evan worked with and supported all the key players for future Four Circles admits. Now as the Alumni Coordinator, Evan works with all Four Circles alumni for at least the first year of recovery.

Evan is from St. Louis, MO. He went to school in Texas and is a NOLS graduate. Before Four Circles, Evan managed 40 people for about 5 years through AmeriCorps doing disaster response and conservation. Evan has worked with the Nature Conservancy and the USFS fighting fires and doing prescribed burns. He also spent several years working in wound care and hyperbaric medicine in both Oklahoma and North Carolina.

When Evan is not at work he spends time with his wife and son. He loves to fly fish, hike, kayak and ski.
